Privacy policy

Detect Sol highlights Solana addresses on X and provides token information and wallet-confirmed swaps. This policy describes the current 1.0 release.

Page content stays in your browser

The content script checks public post and profile text locally for full Solana addresses. It does not upload posts, private messages or browsing history. Only an address you open is sent to market-data services.

Data sent to providers

DEX Screener receives the selected mint address. GeckoTerminal receives the pool and mint address to provide charts. The Detect Sol gateway relays selected mint addresses to market providers and public wallet addresses, account data and transaction requests to Solana RPC. The gateway does not sign transactions. Solana RPC receives public wallet addresses and token accounts for balances, mint validation and transaction simulation. Raydium receives the input/output mints, trade amount, slippage and public wallet address to quote and build a swap. Network providers receive standard connection information, including IP addresses. Token images are loaded from URLs supplied by the market-data provider; these image hosts also receive network connection information. Project links are third-party destinations.

Wallets and transactions

Your wallet extension handles connection approval and transaction signing. Detect Sol never requests, receives or stores seed phrases or private keys. Signed transactions are broadcast through Solana RPC; their public contents and transaction identifiers are recorded on the blockchain. Disconnecting does not erase public blockchain records.

Storage and retention

The extension stores a selected wallet name and public address in session storage per browser tab. This is cleared on browser restart or disconnect. Quotes expire in about 25 seconds. Market caches are held in memory. There are no advertising trackers or analytics SDKs. The website API caches market data and applies temporary IP-based rate limiting. RPC request payloads are not logged by the application. Hosting infrastructure may retain standard access logs under the operator’s configuration.

Your controls

You can disconnect the wallet in Detect Sol and revoke the site connection in your wallet. Remove the extension to stop address scanning. Opening a token or requesting a quote is optional.

Limited use

Detect Sol uses and transfers user data only to provide or improve the token-inspection and wallet-confirmed swap features described here. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or permit routine human access to it. We follow the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data is transferred to the service providers described above as needed to fulfill your requests.
